Migration Consultant – Life Sciences Cloud Solutions

About the role

As a Migration Consultant you will be the architect of digital transformation for leading life‑sciences companies, leading critical migration solutions within Veeva’s EU Professional Services group. You will own the migration journey, acting as the primary subject‑matter expert on Vault APIs, migration tools and best practices to ensure seamless transitions to Veeva Development and Quality Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Vault R&D migrations, guiding the transfer of document content and object data from legacy systems into Vault.
• Advise and partner with customers throughout the extract, transform, and load (ETL) process to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance.
• Share best practices, lessons learned and proven methodologies to grow the team.
• Drive innovation in migration tooling and process design, influencing ETL tool enhancements and implementation strategy.
• Support delivery excellence by assisting in project scoping and estimating for the Vault R&D product suite.

Required profile

• 5+ years of large‑scale document/content migration (e.g., Documentum, OpenText, SharePoint) or enterprise database migration (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Oracle).
• 3+ years in a customer‑facing technical consulting role with a strong work ethic.
• Proven ability to advise and communicate technical strategy to technical teams and senior executives.
• Hands‑on experience leading and mentoring team members.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON and XML for data manipulation and integration.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for client engagements.
