Montessori Elementary Guide (6‑12)

About the role

Barcelona Montessori School seeks an experienced and inspiring Montessori Elementary Guide to lead the 6‑12 age group. The role blends authentic Montessori practice with a rich multi‑curriculum approach, fostering independent thinkers who act with purpose.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain an ordered, beautiful learning environment.
• Deliver the Great Lessons and the full cosmic education curriculum.
• Observe each child closely, track development, and tailor support.
• Facilitate research, collaboration, and community‑based projects that extend learning beyond the classroom.

Required profile

• Holds an AMI (or equivalent) Montessori Elementary 6‑12 diploma.
• Classroom experience at the elementary level.
• Deep belief in the child’s capacity for self‑construction.
• Warm communication with children, families, and colleagues; English essential, Spanish and/or Catalan an advantage.
