Morpheus Enterprise Pre-Sales Architect

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is hiring a Hybrid Cloud Pre-Sales Architect in Barcelona. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office. The Presales Architect acts as the technical champion for the Morpheus Enterprise and OpsRamp platform, partnering with HPE sales teams and customers to drive adoption, deliver proof-of-concepts and accelerate revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical workshops on observability and integrations, run discovery sessions mapping customer needs to Morpheus Enterprise capabilities, and deliver demos and architecture reviews
• Partner with sales, account executives and product managers to position the solutions in winning deals, build proposals and ROI models, and answer RFP/RFI questions
• Provide field feedback to product teams and work with the sales specialist to qualify leads
• Contribute to playbooks, success stories and field-readiness forums, and stay current on hybrid-cloud trends
• Work with presales, engineering, account teams and professional services for a smooth hand-off, and take part in projects improving training, tooling and partner programs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field recommended
• 4-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, virtualization or hybrid-cloud automation, preferably in a technical-selling or enablement role
• Business fluency in Spanish and English

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Morpheus Enterprise and at least one major hypervisor (VMware ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V)
• Designing and operating private, public or hybrid cloud architectures
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows, SAN/NAS, iSCSI and SDS
• Automation/scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Ansible and Terraform
• Preferred: VMware VCF Automation (VRA), Nutanix Cloud Manager, Kubernetes and SDN platforms
• Technical selling, presentation and communication with mixed audiences
