Multilingual Senior Data Research Analyst

About the role

Morningstar's EMEA Data Team is looking for experienced multilingual speakers of German, French, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese to join as Senior Data Research Analysts. The team delivers high-quality financial data for investors worldwide. You will work closely with the Global Data Team and business partners to ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of investment data, lead data acquisition initiatives, manage provider relationships and drive process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data initiatives to improve the accuracy, timeliness and coverage of investment data.
• Act as a data expert on fund structures, methodologies and calculations.
• Build strong relationships with data providers, set up acquisition channels and handle escalations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex data issues.
• Implement LEAN Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes and analytical tools.
• Ensure high data quality for internal and external clients and manage large volumes of data under tight deadlines.
• Translate client requests into detailed specifications and user stories to drive product enhancements.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and at least two other European languages.
• Strong understanding of investment data, methodologies and fund structures.
• Proactive problem solver who takes ownership of data challenges and drives process improvements.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with data quality methodologies.
• Project management skills.

What we offer

• Base salary of EUR 38,000 to 50,000, with a target bonus of 7.5% annual.
• Hybrid work model of four days in office per week.
