Night Supervisor

About the role

SLS Barcelona, a five-star urban resort on Barcelona's waterfront, is looking for a Night Supervisor. Working under the guidance of the Night Manager, the Night Supervisor provides friendly, helpful and responsive service to all guests and ensures a high level of guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Review end-of-day takings against logged reports and conduct nightly audits, reporting and balancing for all departments and hotel functions, reconciling accounts accurately.
• Ensure the credit card system reconciles with daily transaction lists.
• Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance.
• Manage overnight reservations and check-ins, and handle guest arrivals and departures with accurate data in all systems.
• Greet and assist guests warmly and professionally, and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Deal with guest complaints and inquiries promptly and empathetically, and answer all telephone calls quickly and efficiently.
• Report issues to the right department and follow up until they are resolved.
• Keep reception and public areas clean, tidy and presentable.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of front office experience, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, energetic, empathetic and detail-oriented, with a passion for hospitality.
• Adapts quickly to SLS's culture and enjoys working in a supportive, hard-working team.
