About the role

The Machine Operator will maintain and operate a variety of machines and equipment, including hand tools, to perform routine tasks. The role also involves installation, visual inspection, and set‑up of both manual and computerized machines while following quality and safety guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a variety of machines and equipment, including manual and computerized tools.
• Move materials and parts using power lift trucks and forklifts, ensuring a smooth flow of production.
• Perform visual inspections, set‑up, and installation tasks while adhering to quality and safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot production and technological problems and train new machine operators.

Required profile

• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or construction environment.
• Self‑motivated, able to work effectively in a team and stand for long periods, lifting up to 50 lb.
• HS Diploma/GED or equivalent with 0‑2 years relevant experience.
• Forklift certification.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Machine operation and hand‑tool usage.
• Reading and interpreting route sheets/blueprints.
• Basic shop mathematics.
• Use of precision measuring instruments.
