Operations Intern - Summer 2026

About the role

Parques Reunidos, one of the world's leading leisure park operators with more than 60 parks across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Australia, is looking for an Operations Intern for Summer 2026. The position is based in Spain, Italy or Germany and requires frequent travel to the Group's European locations during the summer (70-80% expected).

Key responsibilities

• Analyze historical data to identify key trends and indicators that will shape future labor management practices.
• Carry out labor studies at Parques Reunidos parks, including data gathering, time-in-motion studies, process observations and recommendations for park personnel.
• Prepare action plans to improve labor efficiency and set up follow-up procedures using Lean, Six Sigma and DMAIC processes.
• Assist the Corporate Director in overseeing and managing the overall project.
• Prepare project status updates on a regular basis for the Corporate Director and Senior Leadership.
• Work with stakeholders at all levels, from front-line employees to park general managers and corporate leadership.
• Help deliver system training and functionality presentations to park employees.
• Identify optimization opportunities quickly and take on other tasks as needed by support center leadership.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics or Business Management, with a good academic record.
• Previous work or internship experience in data analytics, project management or similar roles is highly desired.
• Experience in hospitality, amusement parks, theme parks or water parks is a plus.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking of English; other bilingual skills are a plus.
