Operations Manager – Barcelona

About the role

Sanoptis is expanding its network of modern eye clinics across Spain and is looking for an Operations Manager to join the Barcelona team. You will work on the ground, translating commercial strategy into concrete operational improvements and ensuring smooth daily clinic operations.

Key responsibilities

• Spend full days observing live clinic operations (diagnostics, patient routing, reception) and document every step that does not work.
• Convert commercial strategy into on‑site actions, drive implementation and ensure completion.
• Build and maintain operational routines, checklists and continuous optimisation across operations, sales and marketing.
• Act as the main point of contact for clinic managers and shareholding doctors, and manage smaller clinics directly.
• Track the impact of changes, report results quickly to the Commercial Director, and scale best practices across sites and hubs.

Required profile

• Professional experience in a demanding environment such as strategy consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or fast‑paced companies.
• Degree in business administration, preferably with a focus on healthcare economics; healthcare sector experience is a plus.
• Practical operational experience, entrepreneurial mindset and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to produce and communicate business and financial analyses at executive level.
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations and native‑level Spanish.
