Payroll Consultant French Market

About the role

Factorial is seeking a Payroll Consultant focused on the French market to guide clients through the implementation and adoption of our Payroll solution. You will act as the expert on French payroll regulations, ensuring smooth transitions, compliance, and long‑term customer success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end payroll implementations for French clients, from setup to go‑live.
• Provide deep expertise on French payroll requirements, DSN obligations, conventions collectives, and compliance workflows.
• Deliver consultative enablement, configuring time‑management, employee data, contract types, integrations, and compliance settings.
• Conduct training sessions and share best practices with client payroll teams.
• Identify complex payroll scenarios, propose solutions or work‑arounds, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with Product teams, sharing insights on French payroll rules and testing new features.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships to ensure continuous compliance with French labour law and audit readiness.
• Work cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and implementation partners.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in French payroll processes, conventions collectives, DSN, and local compliance.
• Fluent in French (expert level) and English.
• Experience implementing SaaS/ERP/HRIS tools or consulting in a similar environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business processes into product configuration.
• Proactive, structured, and comfortable taking ownership of complex projects.
