About the role
The Faculty of Business and Communication Studies at UVic-UCC is recruiting a PDI Associate to teach in the area of ICT tools, specifically focusing on digital journalism. This is a full‑time teaching appointment for the 2026‑2027 academic year.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 6 ECTS credits of the course "Fundamentals of Digital Journalism".
- Prepare and present lectures that integrate theoretical foundations with practical applications.
- Design teaching materials, assignments, and assessment tools.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Required profile
- Recognized university degree (or equivalent) in Journalism, Communication, or a related discipline.
- Ability to explain complex digital journalism concepts both theoretically and practically.
- Commitment to high‑quality teaching and research within a dynamic university environment.
