Pega Architect / Lead Developer (Hybrid)

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Spain is looking for a Pega Architect / Lead Developer to join its Intelligence Automation team. You will help clients choose the best way to design and develop applications that optimise business processes using the Pega Development platform. The position is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a team lead, sharing responsibility, supporting colleagues and keeping managers updated on task progress
• Build strong working relationships with client and onsite personnel and deliver tasks on time
• Take part in Scrum ceremonies and give status updates
• Take part in design, development, QA, deployment and support as required
• Update technical architecture, design and unit test cases to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Build technical assets and accelerators

Required profile

• 6+ years of Pega application development experience with the Pega Development platform
• At least 3-4 end-to-end Pega project implementations
• Experience managing a small or medium team of Pega developers
• Bachelor's degree (e.g. Electronics, Computer Science) or MCA; Pega certifications are an advantage

Required skills

• Case management, class structure design, Pega integrations, security models (RBAC, ABAC), reporting
• Process flows, decision and declarative rules, data pages, file/email listeners, job schedulers and queue processors
• UI/UX and portals development, REST and SOAP APIs
• Pega performance tuning, best practices and guardrail improvements
• Relational databases and PL/SQL; Java/J2EE is a plus
• Project implementation methodologies

Advantages: Pega System Architect (CSA), Senior (CSSA) or Lead (CLSA) certification, Pega Constellation and React.js, and exposure to CDH, CLM, CRM or SD frameworks.
