Pega Senior System Architect

About the role

DKB Code Factory uses low-code Pega technology to accelerate and reduce the cost of its workflow digitisation initiatives, especially in the back office. As Pega Senior System Architect you will take a technical leadership role, guiding a team of developers to build innovative low-code applications and contributing to the technical strategy by working closely with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with product owners and business analysts to turn business needs into customer-centric Pega solutions.
• Lead the development of scalable, high-performance Pega applications.
• Advocate for best practices and quality to fully leverage Pega's potential.
• Identify Pega feasibility limits early in the agile development process to reduce risk.
• Mentor and support other engineers, and foster a positive, collaborative team culture with constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Pega certification as a Pega Senior System Architect (SSA).
• Several years of hands-on software development, including at least 5 years in Pega application development.
• Experience mentoring other developers.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of object-oriented techniques and design principles is a plus.
• Exposure to other technologies such as application servers, programming languages, web technologies, relational and non-relational databases and API integration.
• Demonstrated success with Agile and Scrum.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with engineers, designers, product owners, business analysts and architects.
