People Generalist – Operations (Barcelona)

About the role

Glovo is seeking a People Generalist to support its Operations team in Barcelona, focusing on the rider workforce across Spain. This role will help shape employee experiences, manage HR processes, and contribute to a fast‑growing start‑up environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on People policies, processes and procedures.
• Track and report absenteeism KPIs, sick leaves and accidents.
• Manage documentation for new hires and current employees, including contracts, legal paperwork and personal data.
• Maintain employee records in all People systems and update information such as holidays, bank details, salary changes, and working hours.
• Support the labor team in performance management processes.
• Lead or contribute to projects aimed at continuously improving HR operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Labor Law, Business or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of HR experience, preferably in a fast‑paced start‑up.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets.
