Performance Marketing Manager – Madrid

About the role

Canva is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to join its growth team in Madrid. The role focuses on driving incremental user growth in Spain through data‑driven media buying, creative optimisation and full‑funnel performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day media buying, optimisation and pacing across creative‑led channels such as Meta, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn.
• Translate Spain‑specific priorities into concrete media strategies and budgets in partnership with the Global Growth Marketing team.
• Set media mix, lead budget allocation reviews and manage the experiment roadmap.
• Partner with the Data team to run incrementality studies, interpret Marketing Mix Models and use Mobile Measurement Partner data.
• Convert performance data into actionable creative insights and collaborate with Growth Creative pods.
• Manage creative rotation, scaling top‑performing assets and flagging refresh needs.
• Evaluate audience segmentation, targeting and bidding strategies, proposing improvements and experiments.
• Lead CRO initiatives and learning cycles across channels.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance media measurement and optimisation.
• Ability to work closely with creative, data and broader marketing teams.
• Proactive attitude towards experimentation and continuous improvement.
