Post-Merger Integration Project Manager – 1 Year Fixed-Term

About the role

Customs Support Group is expanding its presence in Spain and needs a dedicated professional to lead post‑merger integration of newly acquired entities. This is a 1‑year fixed‑term contract, remote‑based in Spain with periodic travel to acquisition sites. You will own the integration delivery for the Spanish market, ensuring new businesses are aligned with CSG’s operating model on time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of post‑merger integration projects, managing scope, planning, milestones, risks and stakeholder reporting.
• Identify and manage inter‑dependencies between workstreams (HR, IT, Operations, Finance, Commercial) and proactively resolve blockers.
• Act as the primary integration contact for Spain, reporting regularly to the Head of Strategy and Integration Office and C‑level stakeholders.
• Drive alignment between acquired entities and CSG Group standards, balancing speed of integration with operational continuity.
• Facilitate structured integration workshops, decision checkpoints and lessons‑learned reviews on‑site and remotely.
• Contribute to the development of integration methodology and playbooks for future acquisitions.
• Support M&A due‑diligence activities where Spanish market knowledge adds value.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of project‑management experience, preferably with post‑merger integration or business transformation.
• Hands‑on experience with integration methodology, Day 1 readiness and work‑stream management.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setup while staying connected to a distributed European team.
• Strong communication skills at all levels, from site managers to executive sponsors.
• Based in Spain with flexibility to travel across the country as needed.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Proficiency with standard PM tools (MS Project, Jira, or equivalent) and MS Office.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certification is a plus.
