PR & Communications Intern

About the role

COCUNAT, a digital-first beauty brand, is looking for a PR & Communications Intern to join its Brand team. The intern supports the Brand Communication & Trade Marketing Manager in communication, PR and brand activation initiatives that grow brand awareness. The position is a full-time internship (8 hours per day) starting in September 2026, based in the office in Sant Gervasi, Barcelona.

Key responsibilities

• Media relations: keep the media database up to date, build relationships with journalists, editors and media partners, and draft and distribute press releases, media pitches and corporate communications.
• Monitor media coverage, prepare press clippings and performance reports, and identify editorial opportunities and industry trends.
• PR operations: coordinate product requests with the warehouse team, manage press seedings (selection, packing, quality checks, shipment), and support press events, product launches, interviews and brand activations.
• Support special communication projects and cross-functional brand initiatives, and be available to travel occasionally for events and industry opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; French is a strong plus.
• Strong interest in the beauty, wellness or lifestyle industries.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive and able to handle several tasks at once.
• Confident interacting with external stakeholders and able to monitor and report PR performance.
