Principal Market Development and Strategic Marketing Specialist

About the role

Medtronic is looking for a Principal Market Development and Strategic Marketing Specialist to lead market development for cardiac conduction system pacing and bradycardia/CRT-P therapies across Western Europe. The role focuses on driving adoption, launch excellence and clinical enablement, working closely with country marketing teams, sales, clinical, medical affairs, training, market access, regulatory and product teams. Travel across the region is estimated at 20-35%.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute market development strategies for cardiac conduction system pacing and bradycardia/CRT-P therapies across Western Europe.
• Identify and address clinical, workflow, operational and perception barriers to adoption.
• Lead marketing readiness and execution for key launches.
• Develop scalable frameworks, segmentation and prioritization approaches to support regional growth.
• Translate clinical evidence into customer tools such as workflows, checklists and value narratives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver field-ready assets, structured governance and consistent prioritization across portfolio workstreams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• 7 to 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing, market development or portfolio commercialization in healthcare or medical devices.
• Proven experience supporting product launches, therapy adoption or portfolio transitions.
• Desirable: experience in cardiac pacing therapies or European healthcare systems, an advanced degree (MBA, MSc, MPH), and experience with clinical programs and evidence-driven market development.
