Process Engineer

About the role

Lear Corporation is looking for a Process Engineer in Vigo. The role supports the efficiency and reliability of manufacturing operations by improving processes, layouts and equipment at plant level, working closely with production teams, suppliers and engineers to deliver safe, cost-effective and scalable manufacturing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, productivity and safety.
• Design and plan equipment layouts, workflows and machine setups to optimise plant utilisation.
• Analyse production data and carry out feasibility and cost studies for new or improved manufacturing solutions.
• Create and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures and quality documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams, suppliers and vendors to resolve production issues and support new materials or technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment and shopfloor operations.
• Experience using data and standard procedures to solve routine manufacturing problems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
