Procurement Responsible Sourcing Lead

About the role

As the Procurement Responsible Sourcing Lead, you will establish and run AVEVA’s supplier decarbonisation workstream. You will design the end‑to‑end operating model, from supplier segmentation and engagement to governance, data validation and reporting, driving measurable reductions in supplier emissions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute a supplier decarbonisation engagement plan aligned with AVEVA’s sustainability targets.
• Prioritise and tier suppliers using data‑driven criteria such as spend, materiality, GHG maturity and influence.
• Partner with category owners to define ownership, engagement routes and expectations for each supplier tier.
• Deliver large‑scale enablement (webinars, FAQs, templates) and targeted 1:1 support for low‑maturity suppliers.
• Run governance cadence, follow‑up and escalation processes for non‑participation or low‑quality submissions.
• Operate data collection workflows using platforms like Watershed and plan for scale‑up as supplier volume grows.
• Implement an assurance‑ready supplier emissions data approach, defining minimum data requirements and methodology improvements.
• Produce internal progress reports and educate internal stakeholders on supplier emissions tracking.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and scaling a supplier engagement programme, preferably in a sustainability or responsible sourcing context.
• Strong ability to segment and tier suppliers based on quantitative criteria.
• Experience collaborating with category or relationship owners to drive supplier participation.
• Track record of delivering enablement at scale and managing governance processes.
• Capability to ensure high‑quality emissions data collection and validation.
