Product Designer (UI/UX)

About the role

Shakers is looking for a Product Designer to elevate its product experience. You will work across desktop, mobile, and tablet interfaces, turning insights into intuitive designs while collaborating closely with product managers and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end experiences in Figma for clients and freelancers on the Shakers platform.
• Conduct user tests, gather feedback, and iterate quickly based on real‑world usage.
• Co‑create solutions as part of the Product Trio (PM, Designer, Dev) from discovery through delivery.
• Maintain and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency and best‑practice implementation.
• Prepare clear handoffs for developers, support onboarding of new features, and verify that built products match specifications.
• Integrate AI tools such as Claude into the design workflow, knowing when AI adds value.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product design with strong communication and storytelling abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment and taking ownership of projects.
• Curiosity about AI and the ability to assess its relevance to design problems.
