Product Leader - Data

About the role

Veeva Systems is a mission‑driven SaaS leader in the life‑sciences industry, building the next generation of data products for clinical and commercial domains. As a Product Leader on the Data Cloud team in Barcelona, you will own the strategy and execution of high‑throughput data pipelines, curation tools, web applications and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Define, own, and execute the roadmap for data products that serve internal teams and external customers.
• Lead cross‑functional squads of data engineers, scientists, analysts and operations managers toward a shared vision.
• Establish success metrics, quality‑assurance frameworks and ensure seamless production deployment.
• Apply cutting‑edge technologies such as GenAI and human‑in‑the‑loop curation to continuously innovate.
• Conduct user interviews, gather insights and collaborate with software product and engineering teams to align roadmaps.

Required profile

• 10+ years of product management experience, from ERD design to long‑term product strategy.
• Proven track record delivering data‑centric products (pipelines, analytics, APIs, platform tools).
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and automation for speed, efficiency and data quality.
• Strong analytical depth to dive into operational details while keeping a strategic view.
• Experience rallying technical teams (engineering, data science) around unified outcomes.
• Fast learner, team‑first attitude, strong work ethic and excellent communication.
