Production Quality Improvement Internship – Getafe (XPLORER 2027)

About the role

Join Airbus in Getafe for a six‑month, part‑time internship focused on production quality improvement. You will work on the digitisation of control plans and support the Metrology department, contributing to the final year project required for your degree.

Key responsibilities

• Digitise the control plans used by production, quality and engineering teams for A320, A330 and A350 lines.
• Conduct studies to reduce control activities based on process maturity and SPC trend analysis.
• Analyse discrepancies found in calibrations of measuring equipment within the Metrology department.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a final‑year Engineering degree or Master’s programme.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on innovation.
• English level B2 minimum (C1 desirable) and native Spanish.
• Ability to work within set timescales in a multidisciplinary, international team.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Statistical Process Control (SPC) concepts.
• Basic knowledge of metrology and equipment calibration processes.
