Project Manager - Industrial Construction Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries, is recruiting an experienced Project Manager for its industrial construction business unit in Valencia, Spain. The company works with clients across real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources, and offers program, project, cost, asset and commercial management, controls and performance, procurement and supply chain, net zero and digital solutions. The role involves taking the lead on strategic commissions and high-profile projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define the development strategy, procurement plan and project-specific procedures (PEP)
• Monitor the cost plan, master schedule and risk register to ensure accurate forecasts
• Act as the main point of contact with the client and coordinate consultants, designers and contractors through meetings and communication strategies
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System by managing inspections, snag lists and customised workflows in real time
• Prepare monthly status reports for the client and Operations Management

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or Architecture
• At least 5 years of project management experience in a technical complex environment
• Thorough understanding of the full project life cycle, from inception and design and authority approvals through construction completion and post-project review
• Fluent Spanish and proficient English
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and strong communication skills
