Project Support Engineer

About the role

The Project Support Engineer will work within the Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center in Rota, Spain, supporting ship overhaul and repair projects for the U.S. Navy. The role involves technical analysis, reporting, and the development of engineering procedures to ensure project success.

Key responsibilities

• Compile reports, charts, and graphs that describe and interpret findings of technical analyses.
• Brief senior management on work status, technical decisions, and recommendations.
• Develop test procedures and methods to evaluate system requirements and performance.
• Create engineering criteria to execute system engineering projects.
• Devise methods to improve production efficiency and increase quality in ship overhaul and repair processes.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen eligible for federal employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport and, if required, a visa for overseas assignment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including remote or isolated sites.
• Ability to pass E‑Verify, pre‑appointment physical examination, and obtain a government travel credit card.
• Must hold a current valid U.S. driver’s license and register for Selective Service if applicable.
