Quality Assurance (KIP) Electronic Inspector

About the role

A permanent Quality Assurance Electronic Inspector position is open at Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defence & Space) in Tres Cantos, in the Madrid area. You will join the KIP (Key Inspection Point) team within the Quality Department, performing quality inspections of electronic assembled boards for satellite and launcher products. The work supports product consolidation, performance improvement and innovation in the company's equipment product development.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure product conformity through quality technological inspection of electronic hardware, following ESA and/or IPC standards, and through configuration and documentary control.
• Perform KIP/MIP inspections, which may be carried out at Airbus CRISA or at subcontractor facilities.
• Guarantee compliance with internal procedures and the European or IPC standards applicable to the projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in the electronic manufacturing sector; space environment experience is desirable.
• Vocational training in electronics.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, analytical skills, a rigorous approach and the ability to think ahead and anticipate needs.
• Current work authorization; Airbus does not sponsor visas for US positions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tools such as Windchill, CAT, SAP ME, AIC and Dynamos
