Quality Resident – Automotive Harnesses

About the role

LEONI, a global supplier of products, solutions and services for energy and data management in the automotive industry, is looking for a Customer Quality Resident in Figueruelas (Zaragoza), Spain. The resident acts as the first contact for customers' production sites on a daily basis when quality problems and escalations arise.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the internal and external Customer Portal
• Support the deployment of LEONI's quality strategy based on customer requirements
• Take part in quality meetings with the customer and organise follow-up meetings with LEONI production plants
• Support customers in problem solving and in following up containment and rework actions, including with external providers
• Support the supply chain on logistics complaints (transport, packaging, sequencing) and propose solutions such as substitution
• Coordinate sampling of EI harnesses with model-year or technical changes together with OEM customers
• Support the preparation of 8D reports (root cause and actions) and manage complaints in the FastTrack system, from opening to closure
• Support ordering of material for customer repairs and own stock

Required profile

• Degree in Electromechanical Engineering or similar
• 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in the automotive industry or as a harness maker is a plus
• Advanced Spanish (C1) mandatory; English at upper-intermediate level (B2)
• Assertive communication, proactive, decision-making and service attitude

Required skills

• Compliant monitoring and handling, failure analysis and defect measurement
• FMEA and quality assurance tools and techniques
• Analytical methods, data analysis and presentation skills
• 5S and knowledge of customer-specific requirements
