Quality Specialist

About the role

Avery Dennison is looking for a Quality Specialist for its Alvedro site in A Coruña, which produces care labels, stickers (Core and RFID) and TexTrace labels. The specialist develops, implements and improves quality plans, programmes, procedures and systems using statistical analysis, lean manufacturing concepts and Six Sigma tools, and reports on quality discrepancies so that products meet company and regulatory standards. The work model is hybrid/flexible.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and test the quality system to ensure process sustainability and compliance with company and legal requirements.
• Develop, update and deliver quality system training programmes for employees at all levels.
• Investigate quality problems using root cause analysis and agree dispositions and corrective actions with operations leads.
• Report quality performance metrics to site leadership and work with the global quality team to maintain global standards.
• Support compliance and client audits, oversee the document control system and drive process changes to reduce variation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of dedicated quality experience.
• Excellent Spanish and proficient English.
• Certified Auditor or Certified Quality Analyst preferred, with strong technical, auditing and statistical skills.
• Demonstrated collaboration and partnering attitude across departments and global teams.

Required skills

• Excellent oral and written communication and attention to detail.
• Organizational skills and proficiency in IT tools such as Google Workspace.
