Recepcionista (Sustitución) – Hotel Occidental Mar Menor

About the role

The hotel is looking for a temporary Receptionist to manage guest interactions from arrival to departure at the Occidental Mar Menor property. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Handle check‑in and welcome procedures for arriving guests.
• Process check‑out and farewell procedures for departing guests.
• Provide in‑person and telephone customer service throughout the stay.
• Perform concierge duties and manage luggage storage.
• Review and verify reservations.
• Conduct night audit tasks.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing or a related field.
• Specific training in tourism quality standards.
• Minimum 2 years of customer‑service experience in the hotel sector.
• High proficiency in English; other languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of office software, hospitality operations, CRM systems and ISO regulations is valued.
