Reception Assistant – Hotel Ponent Beach

About the role

Join the Barceló Group as a Reception Assistant at the Ponent Beach hotel in Mallorca. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth check‑in and check‑out experience while maintaining the high standards of service the brand is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process all documentation for guest check‑in and check‑out.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the reception area and its furnishings.
• Handle incoming guest calls and external telephone inquiries.
• Perform currency exchange transactions.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and dining areas to meet guest needs.
• Provide information to guests and address any complaints promptly.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality and Tourism.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar front‑desk role.
• High level of English; additional language is a plus.
• Adaptability, teamwork orientation, customer focus, strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
• Experience using reservation management systems.
