Receptionist at Cala San Miguel Ibiza Resort

About the role

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests at the Cala San Miguel Ibiza Resort, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure. You will work in a dynamic, international environment within the Barceló Hotel Group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage check‑in and welcome procedures for arriving guests.
• Handle check‑out and farewell processes.
• Provide personal and telephone customer service throughout the stay.
• Perform concierge duties, including luggage handling and guest assistance.
• Review and verify reservations.
• Conduct night‑audit tasks.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing or a related field, with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum 2 years of customer‑service experience in the hotel sector.
• High level of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, ISO regulations and CRM processes is valued.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Familiarity with ISO standards related to hospitality.
