Receptionist (Substitution) – Allegro Murcia

About the role

Barceló Group is looking for a dynamic Receptionist to cover a substitution period at Allegro Murcia Azarbe. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth arrival, pleasant stay, and efficient departure while upholding the brand’s high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all front‑desk operations, including check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Provide in‑person and telephone guest assistance throughout their stay.
• Perform concierge duties and handle luggage storage requests.
• Review and verify reservations, ensuring accuracy.
• Conduct night‑audit tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing or a related field, with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum 2 years of customer‑service experience in the hotel sector.
• High proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of office software, hospitality processes, CRM systems, and ISO standards is valued.
