Regional Communications Specialist Southern EMEA

About the role

As a Regional Communications Specialist for Southern EMEA, you will give the Surventis brand its voice across Spain, Portugal, Turkey and the wider Southern European region. You will work closely with business units to shape communication strategies, manage media relations and support leaders with compelling messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional communication and media strategies, building a strong network of media contacts and industry associations.
• Craft tailored communication plans, press releases, intranet stories and social posts for strategic projects, organizational transformations and crisis situations.
• Support senior leaders with speeches, presentations and briefing materials for media moments and corporate events.
• Adapt global messages for local audiences, both digitally and on‑site, ensuring consistent brand representation.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
• Several years of internal and external communications experience in an international corporate environment.
• Proven media‑relations, change‑communication and crisis‑communication experience, preferably with a network in Spanish media.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish; additional languages such as Portuguese, French, Turkish or Italian are a plus.

Required skills

• Strong writing skills across formats (press releases, speeches, social posts).
• Advisory experience working with leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency with communication tools and platforms, including content management systems (CMS).
