Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst – Financial & Regulatory Reporting

About the role

ING is seeking a talented Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst to join its Financial and Regulatory Reporting team. You will support external reporting to the Bank of Spain and the Head Office, ensuring data quality and compliance while driving continuous improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Understand end‑to‑end finance processes, data models and architecture, including inter‑domain dependencies.
• Develop and refine data requirements to guarantee regulatory compliance.
• Implement improvement actions during data processing to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Act as a technical consultant on reporting‑related projects.
• Maintain a robust control framework to ensure report integrity, including data‑quality issue tracking, root‑cause analysis, source‑data vs. general‑ledger reconciliations, and technical/analytical reviews of report developments.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree with 3‑6 years of experience, preferably in banking or consulting.
• Strong analytical mindset capable of handling large data sets.
• High level of autonomy, initiative and problem‑solving attitude.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
