Remote Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time remote Accountant to join Professional derma Europe SL, a distributor of aesthetic medicine products in Spain and Portugal. The role will support the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate recording, reporting and compliance across both markets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, process daily entries and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and track company expenses.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Support tax and regulatory compliance in Spain and Portugal.
• Collaborate with management and external partners, providing data‑driven insights.
• Help maintain strong internal controls and efficient financial processes.

Required profile

• Strong accounting and bookkeeping background with experience in GL, AP/AR and bank reconciliations.
• Proven ability to prepare financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
• Knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese tax regulations or willingness to learn quickly.
• Proficiency with accounting software (ERP) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset and clear communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are a plus.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or aesthetic‑medicine distribution is beneficial but not required.
