Resort Manager – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

The Ritz‑Carlton Tenerife, Abama is seeking a Resort Manager to lead its iconic luxury resort. This senior position oversees all aspects of operations, ensuring the brand’s Gold Standards are delivered consistently across guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all resort functions, acting as General Manager in the executive’s absence.
• Oversee Finance, Food & Beverage, Rooms, Kitchen, Engineering, Spa & Recreation, Sales & Marketing, and Human Resources.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with brand objectives and financial targets.
• Drive profitability through budget management, cost control, and revenue‑growth initiatives.
• Maintain a visible presence on‑site, engage with guests, and gather feedback to enhance service excellence.
• Lead, inspire, and develop the Executive Committee and department heads, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
• Promote an inclusive work environment, oversee talent selection, performance evaluation, and employee development.

Required profile

• Proven strategic leader with extensive experience in luxury hospitality operations.
• Strong financial acumen and track record of achieving budgetary and profitability goals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and team engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
