Restaurant General Manager – High-Volume Location

About the role

We are seeking a charismatic Restaurant General Manager to launch and lead a brand‑new, high‑energy restaurant in one of Barcelona’s most iconic tourist districts. The role combines hands‑on floor leadership with strategic oversight to deliver memorable dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example, maintaining a visible presence on the floor to inspire and motivate staff.
• Oversee all operational aspects, including service standards, staff training, inventory management, cost control, and profitability.
• Ensure every guest leaves with a lasting positive impression of Barcelona’s vibrant hospitality.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high‑performing team capable of thriving under pressure.
• Manage financial performance, meeting or exceeding revenue, sales, and customer‑satisfaction targets.
• Adapt quickly to the fast‑paced, ever‑changing restaurant environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role in high‑volume, fast‑paced hospitality settings.
• Passionate about hospitality with a natural ability to connect with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
• Hands‑on leader who is comfortable stepping into any role during busy periods.
• Calm under pressure, thriving in a dynamic service environment.
• Strong business acumen with solid understanding of P&L, cost control, and sales strategies.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
