Results-Based Management Officer – Analysis & Reporting

About the role

Under the direct supervision of the Head of the Strategy and Results Unit, the Results-Based Management Officer (Analysis and Reporting) will support the implementation and continuous improvement of IOM’s Results-Based Management framework. The role involves coordinating institutional results monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting to align with the IOM Strategic Plan and Strategic Results Framework.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate institutional results monitoring, data collection, validation and reporting processes.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure alignment with corporate indicators and reporting methodologies.
• Develop and apply reporting products, dashboards and portfolio assessments to support evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Strengthen organizational capacity by supporting RBM systems, surveys, guidance development and capacity‑building initiatives across Headquarters, Regional and Country Offices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least five years of professional experience, or a university degree with seven years of experience.
• Experience in Results‑Based Management, strategic planning, monitoring, reporting or evaluation.
• Proven experience coordinating data collection, validation, quality assurance and institutional reporting.
• Experience analysing quantitative and qualitative data and preparing reports, dashboards and briefing materials.
• Experience providing technical guidance and capacity‑building to diverse stakeholders in a decentralized environment.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of RBM principles, results frameworks, indicators and performance measurement.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and data interpretation abilities.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills for reports, presentations and guidance materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data‑visualisation/reporting tools such as Power BI.
