Runner – Food & Beverage Team (Barcelona)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Runner to join the opening team of SLS Barcelona, a five‑star urban resort on the Port Forum waterfront. Working under the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will support the restaurant floor by delivering food and drinks, setting up service areas and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the set‑up and breakdown of tables, service stations and backstage areas.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
• Restock condiments, glassware and other service items throughout the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of all restaurant spaces, including guest pathways.
• Adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support the team in creating a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
• Address guest concerns quickly and courteously to ensure satisfaction.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality, preferably in food & beverage service.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication in both Spanish and English.
• Positive attitude, team‑oriented and eager to contribute to a memorable guest experience.

Required skills

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
