Sales Engineer - East Iberian Peninsula (Catalonia, Aragon, Valencia)

About the role

Schaeffler Iberia is looking for a Sales Engineer to cover the East Iberian Peninsula (Catalonia, Aragon and Levante). As Account Owner, you are responsible for all Schaeffler activities with assigned customers and prospects, regardless of sales channel, and for steering customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Own revenue, profitability and growth budgets while complying with applicable rules such as competition law.
• Acquire OEM business through solution, product and service sales (cross-selling) and develop new accounts.
• Negotiate prices and contracts within the relevant approval guidelines.
• Understand sector-specific technical and commercial needs and Schaeffler's product, service and solution portfolio.
• Document market potential, opportunities, customer contacts and activities in CRM, and plan and budget sales (Sales360).
• Support sales campaigns, partner acquisition, marketing and training, and maintain contacts with sector associations.
• Carry out market research including competition analysis, create bearing maps for key sectors and applications, and understand end-customer purchasing behaviour.
• Visit end customers together with partners in line with legal requirements and provide technical support to partners.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, ideally mechanical engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with a strong technical and commercial background.
• Previous experience in industrial products and services management.
• English and Catalan; Portuguese is appreciated.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the sales area.
