Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

About the role

Omega CRM, a Merkle & Dentsu company and a global digital company specialising in customer experience, is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join its team. The position is remote and full-time, based in Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in the analysis of marketing automation and martech solution development.
• Help implement the marketing cloud development infrastructure and build processes for cloud-based marketing automation.
• Analyse clients' marketing and technology needs and implement developments that support automated communication across different touchpoints.
• Launch developments and automation processes suited to cloud implementation, and take part in development consulting so that automated communications run smoothly.
• Implement developments to activate automated communications and marketing automation, and keep up with new marketing technology solutions.
• Run test trials, diagnose errors and resolve issues in marketing automation and martech tools.
• Document development processes and track system performance metrics.
• Work on cloud integrations using different programming and development languages.

Required profile

• More than 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within marketing automation and MarTech ecosystems.
• Deep technical knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation and development.
• Proven experience in client-facing roles, translating business requirements into technical solutions and aligning technical teams with stakeholder needs.
• Track record of maintaining high software quality, writing technical documentation and performing testing, error diagnostics and system resolution.

Required skills

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation and development.
• SQL, AMPscript, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), JavaScript, HTML and CSS, and API integrations.
• Desirable: Salesforce Data Cloud and Personalization (formerly Interaction Studio), other Salesforce clouds (e.g. Service Cloud, Sales Cloud) or complementary MarTech tools, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Email Specialist certification.
