SAP Basis Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Manager to lead our SAP Basis team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our SAP landscapes while driving cloud migration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA conversion projects.
• Ensure system availability, performance, security, and business continuity.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure projects.
• Oversee system monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
• Coordinate resolution of critical incidents and maintain SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and SAP consulting teams.
• Drive automation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years leading technical teams or SAP infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA conversions, RISE with SAP, and Public Cloud implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, HANA, and overall system architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, and HANA/Oracle databases.
• SAP Basis or SAP Technology certifications.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, Solution Manager, Focused Run, or Cloud ALM.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Experience in international, enterprise‑scale projects.
• Professional level of English and strong leadership and communication skills.
