SAP BPA Expert – Hybrid

About the role

EY GDS Spain is looking for an experienced SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) expert to lead the design, development and deployment of intelligent automation solutions across business processes. The role covers workflow management, business rules and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems, and is offered in a hybrid format.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP BPA solutions, including process automation, workflows and business rules.
• Analyse business processes and identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
• Design, develop, test and deploy automated workflows using SAP BPA.
• Integrate SAP BPA with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BTP services and third-party applications.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and turn them into technical automation solutions.
• Mentor junior consultants and developers and ensure adherence to SAP best practices, security standards and governance.
• Document automation solutions and support UAT, go-live and post-production support.
• Keep up with SAP BTP and automation innovations and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of SAP experience, with 3+ years hands-on in SAP BPA / SAP Intelligent RPA.
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
• Ability to work independently and manage several automation initiatives.

Required skills

• SAP BPA (Processes, Forms, Business Rules) and SAP BTP architecture.
• REST APIs and OData services.
• Workflow automation, exception handling and error management.
• Preferred: SAP BPA certification, other RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) and Agile/Scrum exposure.
