SAP EWM Senior Consultant (Hybrid)

About the role

EY GDS Consulting Services is looking for a highly experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Senior Consultant to join its team in Malaga, Spain. The consultant designs, implements and optimizes warehouse management solutions integrated with SAP logistics and supply chain processes, working in Cloud, Hybrid and on-premise environments, with greenfield and brownfield approaches and Agile methods. The position is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP EWM implementations, rollouts and enhancements across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
• Analyze business requirements and turn them into functional specifications and SAP EWM solutions.
• Configure and customize EWM processes, including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes and inventory management.
• Ensure integration with MM, SD, PP and TM modules.
• Run system testing, coordinate UAT and support go-live, and resolve incidents.
• Support clients in choosing business solutions, take part in advisory projects and post-implementation reviews, and coordinate main project tasks.
• Work with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, contribute to process optimization, and prepare functional documentation, training materials and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP EWM experience, including implementations and support.
• Proven experience with both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• At least one full-lifecycle SAP implementation project.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Fluent English, written and spoken; willingness to work in an international environment.

Required skills

• EWM configuration: warehouse structure, storage types and bins, inbound/outbound processes, RF framework and warehouse monitor.
• Integration with MM, SD, PP and TM; debugging and close collaboration with ABAP developers.
• Data migration and knowledge of system enhancements and configuration.
• Preferred: embedded EWM in S/4HANA, Yard/Labor/Slotting & Rearrangement, Fiori, automation systems (e.g. MFS), Agile/Scrum, 3PL integrations, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, Signavio/LeanIX, and German, Spanish, Italian or French.
