SAP FI Senior Consultant with French (Hybrid)

About the role

EY GDS Consulting Services is looking for an SAP FI/Finance Senior Consultant to join its team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga. The consultant works on IT solutions for major EMEA market players, delivering business advisory services on finance transformation and enterprise management systems, in cloud, hybrid and on-premise environments, with greenfield and brownfield approaches and Agile methods. The role is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients in selecting the most suitable business solutions
• Participate in advisory and SAP Finance implementation projects
• Assist clients in IT transformation and adoption of SAP solutions (S/4HANA, Central Finance, VIM, FPSL, Group Reporting, Accrual Engine, RE-FX)
• Take part in post-implementation reviews of selected processes
• Coordinate key project tasks and activities

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in SAP FI/Finance implementation
• Experience with standard project tasks: fit-gap workshops, configuration, testing, documentation, training, data migration, cutover preparation and execution
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes
• Strong knowledge of finance configuration (enterprise structure, master data, GL, AR, AP, asset accounting, product costing, fixed assets, statutory reporting, tax, treasury, profitability analysis, management accounting)
• Good accounting knowledge and strong cross-functional understanding with PP, MM and SD
• Higher education degree and excellent English
• French at C1 level or above

Required skills

• SAP FI implementation and functional specifications
• Ideally: SAP Project Systems, SAP Group Reporting, SAP Analytics, Performance Management and Reporting, SAP BPC or SAC for planning, SAP Treasury components, pre-sales support and RFP responses
