SAP Integration Functional Lead – Pharma

About the role

Fusion Consulting, a global Life Sciences consultancy focused on S/4HANA, Data & Cloud and innovative technologies, is looking for an experienced SAP Integration Functional Lead for its pharmaceutical client. The role covers functional integration across a complex SAP landscape, linking business stakeholders, SAP functional teams and technical integration specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Lead functional integration activities across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC and third-party enterprise applications
• Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into functional integration specifications and solution designs
• Ensure integration solutions align with end-to-end business processes across multiple SAP modules
• Coordinate integration between SAP and systems such as MES, LIMS, WMS and CRM
• Define requirements including business process flows, data mapping and interface dependencies
• Lead functional workshops to identify integration needs, process gaps and improvement opportunities
• Support implementation, migration, transformation and global rollout programmes
• Coordinate integration testing, UAT, defect resolution and business process validation
• Ensure solutions meet pharmaceutical industry requirements, including GxP compliance

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP functional consulting, SAP integration or functional leadership
• Proven experience leading functional integration across SAP modules and non-SAP systems
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes and cross-functional integration
• Experience with regulated pharmaceutical environments (GxP)
• Fluent English

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC
• SAP integration concepts: IDocs, APIs, interfaces and data flows
• Integration with MES, LIMS, WMS or similar systems
• Stakeholder management, communication and cross-functional coordination
