Security Lead – Project Governance for Banking & Insurance

About the role

As a Security Lead you will join Amaris Consulting’s team in Barcelona to support the rollout of a new product for the banking and insurance sector. You will manage and coordinate rollout activities, ensure effective governance, track project progress and align stakeholders while preparing the documentation required for internal validation and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement project governance structures and processes.
• Coordinate technical teams and ensure effective collaboration between stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery of milestones within agreed deadlines.
• Prepare and manage documentation for internal product gating processes.
• Coordinate rollout activities across multiple entities and teams.
• Identify risks, track dependencies, and support continuous project improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in project management roles.
• Proven experience in project governance, reporting, and project tracking.
• Experience coordinating technical teams and managing complex deliverables.
• Fluent English.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments.
• Experience in cybersecurity projects.
• Knowledge of Qualys or similar security tools.
• Previous experience in the banking or insurance sector.
