Security Officer – Cyber Defense

About the role

The Security Officer will act as the primary contact for cyber‑defense activities across AXA entities and operating companies. You will lead day‑to‑day security operations, manage incidents, and ensure the delivery of security tools and services.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison for operational cyber‑defense activities across entities and OpCo’s.
• Manage security requests, incidents, change requests and resolutions as the first line of defense.
• Oversee infrastructure security operations, incident and crisis management, audit remediation and vulnerability management.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage and reporting of security tool implementations on all in‑scope assets.
• Monitor and report on SLA, KPI and KRI compliance for subscribed services.
• Act as the Security Operations Subject Matter Expert, handling detection, response and defence against threats.
• Lead security monitoring, incident lifecycle management and post‑mortem analysis.
• Promote security policies, advise stakeholders and support local security programs and projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of IT experience, including 10 years in IT security.
• Proven experience running security operations and related projects.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure and application vulnerabilities, architectures and security challenges.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, OSCP) are a plus.
