Security Specialist – Digital Finance & Regulatory Requirements

About the role

As a Security Specialist for Digital Finance & Regulatory Requirements, you will support Siemens Energy’s finance functions by advancing cybersecurity initiatives and strengthening the overall security posture of critical financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define a company‑wide reference architecture for SAP in collaboration with IT.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, guardrails, and best practices.
• Develop and implement security policies and solutions that meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with financial sector regulations.
• Conduct security assessments to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and executive management to align business and security objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience implementing security solutions and policies.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementations is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of financial sector regulatory requirements and standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex security concepts.
• Proven stakeholder management across different organizational levels.
• Team‑oriented mindset in an interdisciplinary, international environment.
