Senior Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

Fotocasa Group is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Finance Team in Barcelona. You will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, supporting tax activities, and driving improvements across accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Spanish GAAP.
• Calculate provisions, accruals and deferrals.
• Process and post accounting entries, perform account analysis and maintain the general ledger.
• Manage the ongoing accounting of subsidiaries and handle fixed‑asset valuation and posting.
• Support the Tax Manager with tax presentations and filings.
• Participate in finance projects, improve financial processes and act as the main contact for auditors, tax advisors, tax inspectors and internal departments.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, financial reporting or tax law, or vocational training with a certified tax specialist/accountant qualification.
• At least 4 years of experience in general‑ledger accounting, auditing or tax consulting.
• Strong knowledge of national (PGC) and international (IFRS) accounting standards and solid tax understanding.
• Analytical, independent, responsible and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
