Senior Accountant – Remote Friendly

About the role

SAVANA is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The role will oversee key financial processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support revenue management across the company’s international operations. The position offers flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage intercompany transactions and perform reconciliations.
• Review accounting records for accuracy and integrity.
• Oversee tax compliance and coordinate with external advisors.
• Handle billing across multiple revenue streams and ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Support rolling revenue forecasts and cash‑flow analysis.
• Lead financial audits and prepare statutory filings such as annual accounts.
• Prepare technical memorandums and conduct financial analyses to aid business decisions.
• Operate in full compliance with internal security policies and report any incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting from a Spanish university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and support continuous improvement initiatives.
